This following question was posted on LinkedIn. You would love it if you have ever been a victim of jargonism.
Is a Global Leadership Crisis in the making? Companies are worried, that key leadership talent is difficult to find. Not many companies focus on making leaders for tomorrow, rather they are more busy their own current management issues. And, if we are hit by Leadership crisis, how will most companies survive through substandard leadership? Take this perspective - Beyond 2030....

This is going to become increasingly important as the pace of change within the world increases, as competition increases, as new developments take place.
Poor leadership will be fatal. Poor leadership with little or no vision will be worse (whatever worse than fatal is).
It is clear those companies that do survive even beyond 2015 will need to determine the fast approaching challenges - and create actions to produce sustainable benefit. For many organisations this just will not be possible due to their internal politics and structures. This means the business landscape of 2015, 2020 and beyond to 2030 will be very different to what it is today.
No company will be immune to these changes. If they want to survive, if they want to flourish then now is the time to start understanding how the world is moving. I'm completely amazed at how many don't think the changing world will apply to them.
And I am amazed on how much people think before posting queries and replying to them :P
