Hi there, I'm Ankush đź‘‹

I'm a Sr. Data Scientist at Clarkston Consulting passionate about transforming healthcare through AI innovation. I specialize in Large Language Models (LLMs), AutoML, and MLOps—building tools that help doctors and patients make better, data-driven decisions.

What sets me apart is my background in product management (at Gap Inc.), which taught me that great technology isn't just about sophisticated algorithms—it's about creating experiences that genuinely wow users. I bring this product-first mindset to every project, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI capabilities and solutions that people actually want to use.

Currently, I'm pursuing my Master's in Information and Data Science at UC Berkeley, where I research LLM evaluation and reliability. My recent work includes developing SCIPE (with Shreya Shankar and LangChain), a tool that automatically identifies and fixes issues in LangGraph applications—designed with developers' pain points front and center.

Beyond consulting, I'm an event organizer at MLOps Community, Chicago and former host of The AutoML Podcast, where I explored cutting-edge machine learning topics with researchers and practitioners.

My mission is simple: use data and AI to improve outcomes for people.
